I must admit that I am actually scared to drive down here when it snows. It's not because I don't know how. Growing up in the Mid-West gave me all the snow training that I need. But to hell with trying to drive down here in North Carolina...the folks down here don't know how to drive worth a damn! I'm scared they may end up killing me!
Example #1: I swear that my city must only have one snow plow and one bag of rock salt because the roads are NEVER clear. With that said, why do the people down here get on the highways and drive like it's a NORMAL day? These people are driving 50mph like it's no big thing! Some fool almost hit me today! He was coming in the opposite direction and started SwErViNg...I could see him through the dash window turning his wheel left to right like some idiot. DON'T GO SO DAMN FAST!
Example #2: Do not pull out in front of me while I am driving on snow. That only causes me to have to hit your ass because you were stupid enough to pull in front of me. Some stupid bitch did that to me...which made me have to hit the breaks...ABS kicked in thank goodness...but DAMN! There is packed snow and ice on the ground. Don't pull out in front of me!!! I could see her just smiling and cheesing inside her van. JUST STAY HOME!!! Stay away from me.
Example #3: 25% of my office is here today? Smart? I think so. Scared to drive? I think so.
I think all North Carolinians who were born down here should attend mandatory training for driving in the snow.
