It's been a minute, hasn't it? There haven't been many blog worthy events to speak of...but I guess a lot has happened in the past month...my Grandfather passed away, someone dinged my car, my Mother came to visit, I got my house painted, my Father came to visit, I got sick, went to NYC. Nothing blog worthy.
Although the trip to NYC was an interesting one. It was a day trip. Up and back in one day. Out at 7am. Back by 6pm. Went to MTV Studios to talk business. Was expecting Carson Daily to greet me at the door. Thought I'd see Justin Timberlake kickin' it in the breakroom. Maybe I'd get Punk'd by Aston Kusher. I really thought that I would get to the 14th floor of the building and there'd be music blaring through the walls and everyone would be running around all hyper and shit.
Nope.
These folks were straight corporate. Suits and everything. Shoved us their business cards as soon as we sad down and had a big deck to present. Straight up corporate. Couldn't even pronounce "Talib Kwali" correctly when it came up in the presentation.

TRL wasn't even taping that day. "They're at the beach this week. Sorry."
