Onyx has an eye infection. Just like a child. I have to chase her around the house and catch her to put the ointment in her eye. When I'm not looking, she'll hide the ointment. Just like a child.

Dang, I think Onyx turns 2 this month.

I tell you, the cat was a human in a former life...she has eyes like my mother, she hovers around me like my neice and nephew, she talks to me the first thing every morning-as if I can understand her.

You think putting my glasses in a case would solve the case of the disappearing glasses..

BUT NO!

She opens up the damn eyeglass case and takes them out!!!

This cat is out of her damn mind!

I have poor eyesight;therefore, I have to wear glasses. At night I take them off, of course (if I tried to sleep in them they'd just get all bent up). I put my glasses on the nightstand...but why, oh, why did Onyx decide that my glasses were a new toy? This cat would jump up on my night stand, pick the glasses up in her mouth, and take off with them!

It was bad enough to find her drinking my glass of water that I left on the night stand in the middle of night. Now my glasses?

Onyx is funny. My Mother is visiting me for the holidays and Onyx took right to her. She let my Mom pet her and rub her and even sat in her lap. Some people she just runs away from. Do cats know something that I don't know?

I've been coming home in the evenings to find the laundry room door open every time. I would just close it back, but would turn around and find it open again. My father gives me an explanation that maybe a spring is loose and I need to tighten it. Nope, I look...no screw loose. Is it Onyx? There's no way the cat could open the door, I said to myself. She's only 9 pounds. She's not Hercules! Then of course the same night, I find her in the wee hours of the night sticking her paw under the door, pulling it open, and running away.

How the hell did she do that??

So what do I do? Put a chair in front of the door so she can't open it.

Why did I come home yesterday and the chair had been pushed away and the door opened?

Either I have a ghost living in my laundry closet or Onyx is SuperCat!
Yesterday, I decided to
